Having this feature can help the lower tier GPU's that can support encoding at HEVC to capture more fps and smoother gameplay. Especially in RX 580 that really struggles and pegged at 100 percent Video Encode in task manager capturing 1080p60fps in AVC Encoding. I need to use the speed preset in order to capture something with a decent framerate. But with HEVC I can capture up to 1080p120fps with ease and without framedrops in the video. Thankss!!
