A useful option for arena players would be to automatically begin capturing gameplay when entering an arena queue. I know that outplayed can start when league of legends matches begin - and even go as far as creating timestamps for player deaths and good plays. Not sure how comparable the two API's are, but world of warcraft has a multitude of addons that track things in the game that most would assume can't be done.

My novice approach would be to trigger the recording session when the UI frame showing a successfully found match pops up on the users screen. Then, disables recording when the UI shows the end-of-match scoreboard.

Even if I'm just queuing arenas, the downtime in-between q's greatly outweighs the time spent in the arenas and tends to take up a lot of space. Makes it hardly useful, unless I tediously enable/disable the recording upon finding a match.
