So, most people own USB mics that Windows detects and captures as mono audio tracks. But for some reason XLR mics are detected as Stereo (dual tracks) which means a lot of programs like Nvidia GeForce and OutPlayed will capture XLR mics as if they're Stereo, thus you only get the audio coming from one side, the Left.

It's why lots of streamers and content makers use OBS and SLOBS instead. Because those programs have a "Force to Mono" feature to turn the Mic-track into mono.

I'd love to use Outplayed more if they had a similar feature like OBS and SLOBS:
