Record when a duty begins in ffxiv such as:

• Dungeons
• Trails (Normal, ex, unreal)
• Raids (Normal, Savage, Ultimate)
• PvP (Frontline, Crystaline Conflict, duels)

And end recording when the player leaves the instance
