It would be very nice to have the same shortcuts that Youtube uses for next/previous video (mentioned here), skipping ahead/behind 5 or 10s, skipping to 10%-90% of the video, and changing the player's speed (tho please keep the S to toggle speed shortcut, it's very useful)

Considering they're used by Youtube, they're pretty much the default video player controls by now so they should feel very familiar to pretty much everyone on the planet
