Aspect Ratio Output Control

What it is: an extra button or set of option in the Capture settings that will allow you to force 16:9 or some other aspect ratio of your choice.

Why we need it: many FPS players (CS:GO in particular) use 16:10, 4:3 black bars or 4:3 stretched resolutions to aid visibility in-game.

While this is useful, recording the game screen with Outplayed will output a file with the same aspect ratio (even if you are forcing stretched resolution in your graphics settings). This means that in order to create a clip that looks acceptable for viewing on modern screens you need to find the file, open it in another editor and export it with 16:9 ratio. Not only does this take some effort, but it can take a decent amount of time to encode the video with a traditional editor.

Who would benefit: FPS players, people with atypical aspect ratio monitors or accessibility functions.

I would be very pleased to see this implemented, but I understand that the idea isn't as popular as Among Us Kill Events, Minecraft Mod events etc.

the force 16:9 setting doesn't seem to work for valorant. For some reason outplayed captures in 4:3 all of a sudden, I am fairly sure I changed nothing, but the clips are all squeezed and therefor unusable and no setting in the software fixes this.

This is already available. Please open Outplayed Settings -> Capture -> Advanced and toggle the Force 16:9 option there.
